Police are searching for a cab driver they say hit a woman crossing a Newburgh street and drove off.
Authorities say the accident happened at 7:30 p.m. Monday as the woman walked near the intersection of Wisner Avenue and Poplar Street.
Police say there are fewer than a hundred minivan taxis in Newburgh, so they're confident they'll soon find the driver.
