During Senator Hillary Clinton?s (D-NY) visit to the Maria Fareri Children?s Hospital in Valhalla Thursday, she hedged questions about a future debate with her rivals.
It was the first time Clinton saw the facility, which opened its doors two years ago. The former first lady took time to commend the staff and insisted the country could do a better job providing quality health care for everyone. She did not address questions about her Democratic opponent, Jonathan Tasini. Tasini is waging a primary bid against her and has made the war in Iraq his main issue.
Meanwhile, Republican Senate nominee, former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer, is out with another attack ad, criticizing Clinton on national security issues. His challenger, KT McFarland, resumed her campaign after stepping back for several days after her 16-year-old daughter's shoplifting arrest. McFarland wants to debate Spencer. Spencer and Tasini are both hoping to debate Clinton.
