11h agoRamapo police received a call around 4:30 a.m. about a shed fire in the Village of Airmont.
First responders arrived to find a fully engulfed shed near a residence. Swift evacuation measures were implemented by officers on site.
Fire departments from Tallman, Suffern, and Mahwah successfully extinguished the fire, resulting in minimal damage to the house. Emergency medical services were present, but no injuries were reported.
Investigations into the fire's cause are underway, led by the Ramapo Police Department Detective Bureau and Rockland County Sheriff's Crime Scene Unit.
