Six Flags Great Adventure opened a new spin ride for thrill seekers.

The Cyborg Cyber Spin ride is a rotating floorless gondola that moves up to seven stories in the air. The ride is modeled after a gyroscope.

Park officials say it is the most futuristic ride in the theme park.

"It seats 24 guests across with OTS harnesses,” says Six Flags Great Adventure’s Kristin Fitzgerald. “One of the things that make it extra scary is that it has floorless seats, so your feet are actually dangling while you're whirling through the air."

The ride is located in the Metropolis section of the theme park.
