A social media men's fashion influencer is giving Instagram photography advice.

Diego Leon, owner of Instagram page @DandyintheBronx, says the key to taking great Instagram photos is to make sure you have the right lighting.

"If the sun was blaring on us, I would recommend not even bothering to take a picture,” Leon says.

In this day in age, anyone can take a good quality picture on their cellphone, says Leon. However, he adds that buying a DSLR camera with a small tripod can make a huge difference.

“I have a DSLR camera that connects to my phone and I am able to use my cellphone and automatically take hundreds of pictures then upload them to my phone wireless,” Leon says.

When it comes to posing, he says anyone can take a good selfie, but like anything else practice makes perfect.
