Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials toured flood-ravaged Sloatsburg today, but some residents say FEMA isn't really helping them.
The Rutbergs say their home on Seven Lakes Drive sustained more than $35,000 in property damage during the flood, but say FEMA only offered them $200.
They say that FEMA is only really able to help people with little or no insurance.
The Rutbergs say their homeowners and flood-insurance policies are barely covering a quarter of their total losses.
They say that while they may not have all of the settlement money they need, they are thankful that they are all safe.
