Sopranos fans woke up this morning and had themselves some fun.
The first ever SopranosCon is taking over New Jersey at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus this weekend.
Attendees say they came from places like California and even Australia for the event.
Organizers say they believe "The Sopranos" is still so popular because the story and the characters are incomparable. They say three fans of the show came together on the internet to create the convention - which has a catchphrase of "for the fans, by the fans."
"This is the anti-Fyre Festival," says Bernadette Giacomazzo of G-Force Publicity and Marketing. "This was done out of love for the product; not for profit, not for fame, but because they love 'The Sopranos' and wanted to share that love with other people."

Beloved actors such as Dominic Chianese, Tony Sirico and Vincent Pastore are attending the convention this weekend along with 50 other cast members. Fans have the opportunity to get autographs and take photos with their favorite "Sopranos" icons, including Tony's beloved horse Pie-O-My.
"They keep saying they love my character and to me that's all I could have done, you know," Chianese said. "But I have to thank David Chase and working with Gandolfini was a pleasure. A real pleasure."
The convention also has photo opportunities throughout the floor, including reproductions of Dr. Melfi's office and the Bada Bing bar, as well as a Pine Barrens-themed maze.
