Spring Valley trustee denies trespassing charge
The Spring Valley trustee who was arrested for trespassing denied any wrongdoing in his interview with News 12 Hudson Valley Friday.
According to published reports, Demeza Delhomme was drilling a blackboard into a wall and throwing away theater props at the Ramapo Town Cultural Center Tuesday morning when a confrontation occurred between him and a Parks and Recreation Department employee.
Delhomme, however, says he never spoke to or saw anyone that morning except police. The trustee was charged with trespassing, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
Delhomme insists he had permission from the town supervisor to access the Ramapo Town Cultural Center. He will appear before a judge April 22.
