State Department issues terror warning for Europe
The U.S. State Department issued a terror warning for Europe after officials received what they say is credible information pertaining to a possible future attack.
Officials do not say when or where a possible attack might occur but ask travelers to be cautious when traveling to European destinations, specifically England, France and Germany.
The State Department says the information leads back to al-Qaida and that the attacks may be similar to those which took place in Mumbai, India in 2008.
Europe has been a target of Islamic terror plots before; the worst took place in Madrid in 2004 which killed over 200 people.
