Stay safe: Police warn trick-or-treaters to be careful amid coyote, bear sightings

Three areas in Westchester County are warning trick-or-treaters to be extra careful due to bears and coyotes that have been seen roaming in those neighborhoods.
The Yonkers Police Department says there have been black bear sightings in the Lawrence Park neighborhood.
Greenburgh police say there have been sightings in several areas, including the Orchard Hill section of town near Canterbury Road and Wayne Way.
In Rye, city police say there have been multiple coyote sightings, including one on Osbourn Road and Woods Lane.
Police say they will have extra patrols in all neighborhoods to make sure everyone is safe.
