Stephen Baldwin pays $100K in back taxes in Rockland County

NEW CITY - Actor Stephen Baldwin turned over a big check to a judge in Rockland County Court this morning.

Baldwin, who lives in Upper Grandview, made a $100,000 payment toward his back taxes.

He still owes the state another $100,000 and says he can pay the rest by March. If he doesn't pay in full, he could face jail time.

Baldwin pleaded guilty last year to not paying taxes for three years. As part of the plea agreement, Baldwin had agreed to pay $400,000 in restitution. He says the non-payment was accidental.
