The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch through Thursday night for the entire lower Hudson Valley.
Periods of rain and thunderstorms will bring rainfall rates from 1-2 inches per hour through the watch period. This will cause ponding on area roadways and localized flooding.
The Bronx River Parkway is currently closed between Main Street and Fenimore Road in White Plains due to heavy flooding. The Saw Mill River Parkway is closed between exits 20 and 29 in both directions. The southbound side is also closed by exit 32.
