Patient armed with ice scraper threatens staff, police at Warwick hospital

Police subdued a patient who was menacing staff with an ice scraper at a Warwick hospital emergency room Tuesday.
According to police, 25-year-old Bradley Mann was involved in a family fight earlier in the day, which landed him in the ER at St. Anthony's Hospital. They say Mann picked up the ice scraper from the entrance to the ER and was threatening staff and police for about five minutes before police subdued him. No one was hurt in the incident.
Mann is charged with reckless endangerment, menacing, criminal possession of a weapon and resisting arrest. His father, 51-year-old Keith Mann, is also charged with resisting arrest and obstruction of governmental administration for punching a police officer who refused to let him in the ER.
