Police step up patrols after three men gunned down outside Middletown bar

Police are stepping up patrols Monday as they continue their search for the people responsible for shooting three men outside a Middletown bar.
Police say on Sunday morning three men in their 20s were shot outside the Caribe Garden Bar on West Main Street, which is right around the corner from a police station. Officers in the station heard the shots and when they arrived on the scene they found Rasheen Jordan, Kareem Burns and Evay Watson on the ground. Jordan and Burns were treated and released while Watson was transported to Westchester Medical Center where he is in fair condition.
Police don't believe the shootings are gang related but say witnesses have been reluctant to come forward. Middletown Mayor Marlinda Duncanson is working with police to try and prevent what happened from occurring again.
Anyone with information is asked to call Middletown police at 845-343-3151.
