Posted: Updated:

Police have arrested six teenagers in connection with a burglary where guns were stolen from a Montgomery home.

Off-duty police officer Tim Mahoney spotted two teenage boys running across his neighbor?s lawn with guns Tuesday night. The suspects fled but when Mahoney went to the home he found one of the boys in the house. State police arrived and five teenage males were arrested plus a 14-year-old girl who was housesitting for the owner and let the boys into the home.

The teens are facing first-degree burglary charges. Police are also investigating allegations that the girl hosted drinking parties at that home.
