Man electrocuted to death outside Bedford home

An elderly Bedford man was found burned to death outside his home Thursday and police believe the recent wild weather is to blame.
Two powerful storms caused major damage in Westchester and the Hudson Valley. The strong winds knocked down many trees and electrical wires throughout the area. Police say they found the victim surrounded by downed power wires. They add the man was so badly burned he has not yet been identified.
A medical examiner has determined the man was a victim of electrocution. Police are now trying to figure out the circumstances leading to the man?s death. The Bedford man is the second life claimed by the violent weather. Earlier in the week a tree fell on a car, killing a man in New Rochelle.
