Fallen tree, downed power lines trap Bronxville residents

The massive wind storm continues to inconvenience residents in Bronxville.
A 30-foot tree came crashing down on Courseview Road Wednesday morning, taking down live electrical wires in the process. Residents behind the tree on a dead-end street are now trapped. They cannot leave to drive their children to school because Con Edison says the wires are dangerous.
Crews are unable to remove the tree until Con Edison makes the wires safe. Meanwhile, residents are without heat or electricity. They are also worried about getting out in case of a medical emergency.
