Police bust illegal gambling ring in Haverstraw

? About 100 Haverstraw law enforcement agents served search warrants on three businesses where illegal gambling was allegedly taking place. Officials arrested 11 people.

Police say the task force waited a year to serve the warrants near Broadway and Main Street. Officials found evidence of sports betting, slot machines, narcotics and prostitution.

The suspects are due in court later this month.
