Police search for suspects who stole lottery money from Rockland gas station

The hunt is on for two men who stole thousands of dollars in lottery money from a Rockland gas station.

Police say the men entered the EXXON on North Airmont Road shortly after 7 a.m. Friday. One suspect distracted the store?s clerk, while the other used a screwdriver to pry open an office door. Police say the man busted open a locked drawer and stole at least $3,000.

Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call police at 845-357-2400.
