C. Scott Vanderhoef wins Rockland County executive race

Posted: Updated:

Republican Incumbent C. Scott Vanderhoef has easily won a fourth term as Rockland County executive. Vanderhoef was back in his office the day after the election - an election where he beat out two opponents vying for the county's top job - Democratic Legislator Ellen Jaffe and Independent candidate Richard Stolbach. Vanderhoef stated Wednesday that the win is obviously a success and that the next four years will be dedicated to the issues affecting Rockland residents including those who didn't vote for him.
