A federal undercover buy and bust operation caught two men trying to buy 400 pounds of pot at the Fairfield Inn on Spring Valley Market Place.
The sting happened Tuesday night when police say the two suspects from Pennsylvania tried to make the nearly half million dollar deal with undercover members of the Drug Enforcement Agency. Sean Timoney of Philadelphia and Jae Seu of Glennside Pennsylvania are now facing charges of possession with intent to distribute. They are being held awaiting a bail hearing.
Timoney is the son of Miami Police Chief John Timoney, who used to be an assistant chief in New York City.
