Battle for town supervisor heats up in Woodbury

The battle for town supervisor heats up in Woodbury with the issues of population growth and taxes facing the candidates.
Shelia Conroy has served two terms as the Woodbury town supervisor. As a 28 year resident of the town she says her goal all along has been to make the town a better place to live. But with Woodbury?s population on the rise, Conroy has come under fire from her Democratic challenger John Burke. Burke says the town has seen so much growth over the past two terms that it has made it almost impossible for residents of the community to even go shopping on the weekends. But Conroy says you can?t stop people from wanting to move into the community. Burke also sent out a flyer to town residents that says the budget has increased $2.5 million and taxes have been raised 25 percent.
