Police are searching for the intruder who robbed a woman at gunpoint in her New City home Thursday night.

Police say the suspect was wearing a black ski mask and demanded money and jewelry from the homeowner. The woman managed to get one ring off her finger and the intruder left with her pocketbook.

Clarkstown police say it is the second home invasion in the area in the past two months but don?t know if the two are related. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the Clarkstown Police Department at 845-639-5800.
