Police release tapes to catch suspect in fake bomb incident at Rockland mall
Clarkstown police are releasing surveillance video photos in an effort to catch the suspect wanted for planting a fake bomb at a West Nyack mall last month.
In July, a fake bomb was discovered at the Palisades Center. The mall was evacuated and the device was detonated before police discovered the bomb was not real. Clarkstown police hope the public will be able to help them identify the man from the surveillance photos.
The mall is also announcing a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in the case.
