Suspicious incident sparks terror concerns in Hudson Valley

Police are on alert after a suspicious incident Wednesday night sparked concerns of terrorism in Hudson Valley.
Authorities say an off-duty Haverstraw police officer spotted a man believed to be of Middle Eastern descent taking pictures of a Con Edison sub station located on Route 202. The police officer got the man?s license plate number, which was traced to a Yonkers address. Police are now on the hunt for the man.
Several intelligence agencies are working with Rockland County authorities and the Department of Homeland Security on the case. Haverstraw police ask anyone with information to call 845-354-1500.
