Posted: Updated:

A group of high school students from Rockland County are heading overseas to Ireland, just one day after the London terror attacks. As the students prepare to leave, many say the thought of Thursday?s devastating attacks in London are not far from their minds. They say, however, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity and nothing can put a damper on their excitement. The trip is a reward for winning an essay contest sponsored by the Ramapo Irish Twinning Committee, a group that raises money to send students overseas. The Ramapo Twinning Committee is hoping to bring students from Ireland to the town next year. Click here to see the aftermath of the London terror attacks.
