Haverstraw mayor to appear in court next month on drinking and driving charges

Haverstraw Mayor Francis Wassmer is in trouble with the law. Police arrested 59-year-old Wassmer on West Broad Street just after 4 a.m. Sunday. Wassmer has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired.
