Firefighters battle Newburgh blaze on Colden Hill Road in 90-degree heat

Dozens of firefighters battled a massive blaze at a Newburgh home in Monday's intense heat.
The incident happened at a home on Colden Hill Road at around 1 p.m.
Temperatures got up to 90 degrees, which makes for dangerous conditions for firefighters. EMTs were brought in to help the crews.
Officials say one firefighter was taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion. Others cooled off with fans and drinks.
Neighbors say the homeowner's son was inside the house when the fire started, but was able to escape with the family's dog.
Officials say tankers had to be brought in because there were no fire hydrants in the area.
