Anti-Defamation League condemns anti-Semitic graffiti found in Pearl River

Posted: Updated:

The Anti-Defamation League has condemned what it is calling a hate crime in Pearl River.

Homeowner Steve Bernasconi found his two cars had been vandalized with anti-Semitic graffiti and swastikas painted on them. A third car on the street had also been vandalized. Evan Bernstein, of the Anti-Defamation League, said he was shocked and outraged to hear about it.

Police have increased patrols in the area and Bernstein says he is grateful they are aggressively pursuing the case.

No arrests have been made.
