Geovanny Flores arrested for allegedly injuring 2 people in wrong-way crash on Hutchinson River Parkway

A White Plains man was arrested for allegedly causing two accidents while driving the wrong way on a Hutchinson River Parkway exit ramp and injuring two people.
Police say Geovanny Flores, 28, was exiting the southbound side of the parkway at Mamaroneck Avenue just after 11 p.m. Thursday when he crashed into a car at the end of the ramp. Flores allegedly made a U-turn and drove the wrong way down the ramp, crashing into another car. The force flipped Flores' car and injured two people in the other car.
Flores was allegedly seen running away from the scene of the accident. Five hours later, after a massive police searching involving dogs and helicopters, Flores was arrested in Mamaroneck.
Flores has been charged with leaving the scene of an injury accident, reckless endangerment and reckless driving. The two people injured were taken to area hospitals and are expected to be OK.
