A man armed with a machine gun opened fire at 77 Cromwell Ave. early Saturday morning in southwest Yonkers.
Witnesses say the man hopped out of his car and jumped into an outdoor plaza to quickly fire off at about 10 shots.
At least three parked cars were hit, according to officials.
Police have not yet confirmed whether anyone was injured during the shooting, but residents report that they saw no injuries.
