Greenwood Lake discusses 'Stairway to Heroin' use

One community in Orange County is trying stop the growing heroin problem among youth.



Parents and children packed the middle school auditorium in Greenwood Lake Thursday night for the drug awareness presentation called 'Stairway to Heroin.'



Speakers said that 36 percent of teens are using marijuana and abusing prescription drugs.



They said all drugs are gateways to heroin use. The speakers stressed to parents that teens with more information make better choices.
