Group practices in Suffern for Macy’s parade
One of the nation's premiere drum and bugle corps was in Suffern Wednesday afternoon, getting ready to perform in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The Madison Scouts have been rehearsing at Rockland Community College's field house for the past few days. Though the group has been around for 76 years, Thanksgiving Day will be their biggest single audience ever.
Alumni all the way back to the 1970s are reuniting with current members to march the streets of New York City.
The Madison Scouts are the last musical group in the parade and will introduce Santa Claus.
About 55 million people are expected watch the parade.
