Volunteers sort gifts for Suffern PD toy drive

Posted: Updated:

More than 100 volunteers helped sort and box gifts for the annual Suffern Police Department toy drive for families in need.

The drive was able to collect more than 5,000 gifts that were carefully labeled and categorized by the volunteers.

Neighborhood families will soon pick up many of the gifts. Others will be delivered to towns over the weekend.

Suffern police have been holding the toy drive for 24 years.
