Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-N.Y) is continuing to work for his constituency despite personal issues.
Rep. Hinchey was touring Orange Works in Newburgh today, a one-stop career center, in an effort to maintain the center's federal funding.
Hinchey has been undergoing treatments for colon cancer and says he expects to undergo surgery sometime in July.
His wife, Allison Lee Hinchey, was recently arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Ulster County.
