Dangerously hot weather hits the Hudson Valley

A heat advisory was issued today for the Hudson Valley as temperatures swelled into the 90s.

When the humidity is factored in, the temperature felt more like 100.

Health officials say the people most vulnerable to the heat are children and the elderly.

They say anyone who has to venture outside should drink plenty of water and use sunscreen.CDC - Heat StressCooling Centers
