Cops: Man charged with DWI after crashing into Greenwood Lake home
Police say they have arrested a man and charged him with DWI after he lost control of his car and slammed into a home in Greenwood Lake late last night.
Investigators say 29-year-old Frank Fahsbender was speeding and driving drunk when he hit a boat, a car, a telephone and then a home on Jersey Avenue.
Neighbor Beverly Dunphy says the car was practically split into two pieces.
Fahsbender was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The building inspector left a sign on the home that the car crashed into saying it is no longer safe to live in.
