A day at the beach turned tragic for a 31-year-old Bronx man swimming at Lake Welch Beach yesterday.

The popular swimming spot is located inside Harriman State Park. Paramedics say the man had no pulse and was not breathing when they arrived just after 11:00 a.m. He was taken to Nyack Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The victim has not been identified pending family notification.

Last month, a 26-year-old Philadelphia man was found dead at the nearby Beaver Pond Campground.
