Police are investigating a nightclub shooting in Newburgh over the weekend that they say might be gang-related. Officials say shots rang out early Sunday morning at the Knights Inn Motel on Route 17K. They say a man opened fire after he and his group were asked to leave the motel's club after sneaking inside. Police arrested two of the men, Daniel Nava and Jose Martinez, both of Newburgh, as they tried to escape. Anyone with information is urged to call Town of Newburgh police at (845) 564-1100.
