Steel beam from WTC arrives at Orange firehouse

A piece of the World Trade Center was escorted up the Palisades Parkway to a firehouse in Orange County today.
The beam was placed in the parking lot just below the number 343, which has been on the side of the firehouse since shortly after the same amount of firefighters were killed on Sept. 11.
Fire officials say they plan to use the beam in a more permanent memorial outside the firehouse so anyone who drives by can take a moment to pay tribute.
