Clarkstown South festivities to get close attention

A heavier-than-normal police presence is expected this weekend at Clarkstown South High School after some students at Clarkstown North allegedly got so drunk last weekend that they had to be taken to the hospital.
Clarkstown South High School students are looking forward to homecoming festivities this weekend, though some say they are dreading having to deal with all the cops likely to be stationed at their pep rally, game, dance and on the party bus they chartered to take them to the city.
Police, the Rockland County district attorney and now the Clarkstown School District have all opened up investigations into whether students from Clarkstown North got drunk on buses that they chartered to take them to the city for a midnight cruise.
Police say so far their investigation is going nowhere because neither students nor their parents are talking. Officials probing Clarkstown North H.S. drinking spree Clarkstown officials investigate high school drinking binge
