Armed men rob stationery store in Spring Valley

The search continues today for two men who robbed a store at gunpoint in Spring Valley.

Police say two men robbed the Pen Pals Stationary store on Kennedy Drive Monday night.

The clerk told police the bandits were wearing face masks and one was carrying either a rifle or machine gun.

Police say they demanded cash and walked out with $1,000.

They say no one was hurt.

Spring Valley police are asking that anyone with information about the crime contact them.
