Posted: Updated:

Three Brooklyn residents were arrested following a fight outside a Nanuet Days Inn early Wednesday morning. The fight is believed to have started over drugs.

According to police, the fight started between two groups in the parking lot of the Days Inn on Route 59 when three people left the hotel in search of marijuana and an altercation ensued. Police are investigating whether the group in the parking lot was selling the drug.

Three people were arrested and charged with third-degree assault. The suspects were all released on bail, and are due back in Clarkstown Town Court on June 20.
