A memorial was held yesterday in honor of a Nyack College student who collapsed and died two weeks ago.
Anne Jackson, 21, was a cross-country runner, studying to be a music teacher. Her friends describe her as an extremely gifted singer and an extraordinary athlete.
Jackson died suddenly when she collapsed during cross-country practice on Nov. 17.
Officials say Jackson did not have any known medical problems. The family is awaiting autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death.
