W. Plains mayor continues testimony on stand

White Plains Mayor Adam Bradley continued his testimony in the domestic abuse trial brought against him by his wife, categorically denying a specific charge that he threw hot tea at his wife and slammed her hand in a door.
Fumiko Bradley alleged that her husband had slammed her hand in a door during an argument earlier in the year.
Bradley testified today that his wife yelled at him, and then slapped him after he gave lemonade to their children that his wife told him was for a special occasion. As she was leaving the room, Bradley says that he tried to close the door behind her, and that her hand was trapped when she turned around in an attempt to prevent the door from closing. He added that the door then swung open, injuring his toe in the process.
Prosecutors today questioned testimony from the family au pair, Yuko Watanabe, who is allegedly being represented by an attorney who is being paid for by the Bradley camp.
