Police: Bear Mountain Bridge jumper not hit by train

Police say the man who committed suicide last night was killed by jumping off the Bear Mountain Bridge, not by being hit by a train as initially suspected.

Authorities say 23-year-old Jeffrey Klein, of Chappaqua, jumped to his death last night and landed on the railroad tracks below.

Investigators say they located the man?s car nearby and do not suspect foul play.
