The Mount Pleasant police chief held a news conference today where he laid out a timeline of events surrounding the fatal police-involved shooting of a Pace University student early Sunday morning.

Police Chief Louis Alagno says that after reviewing a series of police communications and dashboard-camera recordings from the night of the incident, 20-year-old Danroy Henry received medical attention within five minutes of being shot.

Given his timeline, Alagno denied witness reports that claim Henry went 15 minutes before receiving help. Many of Henry's friends also say police not only didn't let them help Henry, but beat and Tasered them.

In response to published reports, Alagno also added that he has never specified which of the three officers involved actually shot Henry.

Law enforcement sources have also confirmed to News 12 that Henry had a blood-alcohol level of .13 at the time of the shooting.
