Posted: Updated:

A day after Pace University student Danroy Henry was shot while allegedly fleeing from police at a bar, students say they are still coming to terms with the loss.

The shooting took place at Finnegan's Grill as students were celebrating the university's homecoming. Henry was a member of school?s football team.

The sudden loss of a student has hit the tight-knit campus hard, leaving many students struggling to understand what happened.

Sunday night, the school held a private candlelight vigil for students to remember Henry. The university has also made grief counselors available to students.
