Balloons set off international frenzy about UFOs

Strange white objects seen floating in the skies above Manhattan on Wednesday may have just been common party items from a Westchester school.
The incident, which set off an international media storm, had some believing that they were seeing actual UFOs.
Angela Freeman, the principal of the Milestone School in Mount Vernon, says the objects were balloons that were intended for a teacher?s engagement party. She says it was so windy that about a dozen of the balloons blew away. Freeman later called the local newspapers to clear things up after she thought the situation was getting out of control.
