A Westchester village officially passed a law this week that would impose fines to dog owners who let their pooches bark continuously.
The Bronxville Village Board passed the new animal nuisance law Wednesday night.
The new law says that dogs cannot continuously bark for longer than 10 minutes between the hours of 7 a.m. and 10 p.m., or longer than five minutes between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Owners who do not comply could face fines of up to $250 and a possible 15-day jail sentence.
